Rapid response QR code launched by Manipal hospitals in association with the Ministry of Health, Govt of Karnataka.

Manipal hospitals have launched this rapid response QR code in association with the Ministry of Health, Govt of Karnataka. On scanning this QR code in an emergency situation, an ambulance from a nearest location ( Manipal/108) will be dispatched to your location based on GPS. Share with your loved ones, family and friends so that it may be handy in case of medical emergencies.

Dr Aishwarya (Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Manipal Hospital) gave an awareness talk to a group of more than 300 students. The question answer session was very well received as one hour wasn’t enough! The principal has asked us to coordinate more such sessions, including one on Mental Health.

We had a very successful Health and Eye Check Camp at Gulabi Girls High School last weekend! It was insightful. Approx 25% of the 60 students have a problem with eyesight, most of whom didn’t even know! We are collecting eye glass frames if anyone would like to donate.
