Young voters: The Election Commission of India revamped the electoral roll update process, transitioning from an annual revision to a quarterly one, starting January 1, 2021

Divided into four periods starting on January 1, April 1, July 1, and October 1, this change allows citizens turning 18 within a quarter to apply for registration before its end.

Notably, applications for inclusion, deletion, or correction are accepted year-round.

Even if you're not yet 18 but will be in the next quarter, you can submit advance applications during the ongoing revision.
